Needles is about 40 miles from Lake Havasu and 110 miles from Vegas. I went last year and will go this year. It was fun. Lots of beautiful boats and great people.

It's a "show" not a race. Stay home, you will be scared.

As I understand it, most of the boats that hit the water will do so AFTER the show since they are all primped to the 9's for the show... But not actual racing...

No it is a show. Anyone who wishes to go run in front of the crowd is welcome to do so, but it's not a race and not a typical v-drive outing that we would have in needles. Still a lot of fun for those who dig "true" floating Hot Rods under 2 tons.
