Cycloramic picture app....WOW!

I saw it pitched on Shark Tank tonight so I downloaded the app. Pretty damn impressive. It takes a 360 degree panoramic picture on it's own...yes hands free! Set your phone down on a flat surf and it spins on its own. I wouldn't of believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. A perfect 360 degree photo....Amazing!

I took this picture by setting my phone on top of my wife's car and let it do the rest. Hands free.

They couldn't throw their money at this guy fast enough. I'm still kind of shocked that Apple didn't think of this...seems much cooler to me than a fingerprint scanner.

I havent watched the episode yet but I'm intrigued.
How the hell does the phone spin? Does the vibrate mode make it Spin?
I would imagine the phone needs to be out of the case in order for it to work properly?
