14 miles to work, 11 minutes most days unless we have to get cows off the road.

Depends if I go out the front door or thru the Garage but usually under a minute..

I work out of my truck and live in my territory!!

I drive all day doing outside sales. My office is 32 miles which is about 45 minutes but for instance yesterday, I went to Holtville, CA which is about 3 hours one way.

Sounds like we've got the same job, I retired at 49yo in Jan 2005, I'm pretty much having a great time too.

If I take surface streets, its a little shorter on mileage, but I hit 15-20 red lights and takes 30mins.

If I try to jump on the 5fwy after work? Lol, forget about it, it's a waste of time, bumper to bumper. However that would be the easiest way home and not have to pay toll fee's, but there's just too many people and too much traffic out here, so I can't go that way.
