Oh, but ,man... there was a time...I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, and years ago before all the shitheads moved here, it was soooooo beautiful. Traffic-wise, years ago, I was at a party one evening in Westlake Village where someone there asked me just how fast my 1965 GT-350 outside was. I didn't really know it's top end, and told the person so, however......driving home from Westlake I decided to wring it out on the Ventura Freeway eastbound. At midnight, there I was, indicating 120 mph wide open , engine screaming , holding on with both hands for quite a distance and no one on the freeway ( except for the CHP car that came out of no where, but I un-believeably managed to dodge ). I doubt if the Ventura Freeway is EVER empty enough anymore to pull that stunt . Safely anyway....
