Thank you for the well wishes...

    As requested some daytime pics...

Here is the HAHA Tonka spring, the 12th largest in the state of MO, 58 million gallons perday... The Dolomite rock gives the water a jade green color, its very beautiful...

The old Mill Pond (below)... There were two different GRIST MILLs located on the discharge of the spring below the mill pond (partially naturally occuring pond, partially mand made with stone/cement walls). Visiting the Missouri historical sites/GRIST MILLs is one of my favorite hobbies

THIS (pic below) is where the spring dumps into the lake, at 55 degrees year round the little kids said it feels like an "ice berg". You can still see part of the stone/cement wall on the left of the pic... Over at Camden the water temps are in the 80s...
    Looking right...

Here's how I describe the spring water at HA HA Tonka. When you swim down from the fence on the right pic to where the the spring meets the lake is probably 20-25'. Once you set foot in the water by the fence it's instantly cold, this is when you question what you have done to yourself so from there it's either crawl out(the same way you got there, which isn't fun or easy, a little mound of dirt(10') that is slippery with rocks and roots in it) or swim down the stream. Swimming is the easiest way. Now that you have decided to swim the short 20-25' this is the fun part. You lunge into the water and fully submerge yourself in the cold water and start swimming faster than Michael Phelps, somewhere along the way you start to lose feeling in your toes and than the torture is over once you enter the cove water you regain feeling in your toes and the rest is history. Some people keep doing it. Kids love it. Now I probably just ruined it for everyone that wants to try it. Oops.
