Going to Havasu for 4th of July weekend got a quote on a pontoon boat for Saturday of $800.00 daily rate with a 3 day min. Ouch is this the going rates for holiday weekends at lake Havasu?

$800/day seems high but I'm sure due to the Holiday. But 3 days? yikes. That should cover the monthly payment for 2 years

Back when I was unreasonably compensated for my services, I purchased a few toons for less than $2500

I bought one for $800 that actually ran. It also had a sound system that was valued around $3K

After that one I bought another one for around $2000 that actually did pretty good. Other than a max speed of around 17mph it was a pretty good boat.

Wow that is stiff. I figured 2-3 a day. 800 A day I would buy something and then sell it after the weekend.
