She is doing good. Def enjoying the visiting of people she hasn't seen in 20+ yrs. today is out last day of visiting people for a week or so as we are running low on time.
We are heading to Hamburg in an hour to see the miniature wunderland. Tomorrow we are off to Poland as that was east Germany back in the day and where she is from.
We are going to have to skip Berlin and Schwerin Castle as we are running low on time. We thought 3 weeks would be enough but time just flies by when you visit people.

It was def wet yesterday as well as today. Since we are close to the North Sea, they get a lot more rain.
I'm looking forward to southern Germany the most.

Cool! One of my NHRA friends is in Germany this week and he's been posting pics too. In both of your pictures many things are similar to US, biggest difference seems to be building style and size of vehicles.

Exactly! Cars are so small here...I saw my first Ram2500 quad cab yesterday and thought to myself, they must be from America lol.
I was speaking with someone about the buildings and they said all the houses are made of stone and not wood as the weather is not wood friendly.

At the risk of having to turn in my man card for a corny post, here it is:
In Koln they nick-named the main train bridge over the Rhine the "love lock" bridge. So what you are supposed to do is have a lock with your and your loved ones names on it, lock it on the bridge and throw the key in the Rhine.
Kim wasn't with me but I did it anyway with an extra storage lock I brought with me and wrote on.
Here are the pics
Ok I'm bracing myself for your comments lol
Sooooo sweet I love it you are best ever! Unlike you I've been away with no internet I love the pics. The clowns are very disturbing and I can NOT believe you slept in the same room as those dolls. Please post pics from miniature wunderland. Don't worry about the man card thing lol
