ok, here's some more to the story,,,,my hallett has the dreaded yellowing white gel coat,... there are all kinds of claims to what causes it...carnauba wax, sun shine, boat covers ect...they say the fix is to sand it off...."NEVER" is what I say... sanding gel coat ruins the gel,.. it opens up the pores...takes away longevity...and takes away the thickness of the gel.....I wanna know what really causes it, and why so much on halletts??? beings that i'm not gonna wet sand it...I gonna find out what takes it off....well, if you look at the pics... you can see what happens when I spray PLEXUS plastic window cleaner on it....it bubbles the yellow shit right out......so WTF is coming out....mold release wax???? carnauba wax....?????

Have you tried shower power? Or that other shit that comes in a green bottle made for your toilet?

I had a white gel boat one time and it used to turn yella. Couple washes from the green bottle shit and it was as white as Putin's grand babies ass

How long did you leave the plexus on there? Did the white come back on the first application?

I guess the answer is no,...it gets whiter with each application, in the pics you can see one application...it brings out yellow a little at a time,,, they wanted 4000 to fix it at hallett, and there fix is to wet sand the piss out of it... every thing else I tried etched the gel and didn't get it out..plexus is the best there is for plastic windshield and canopys...

it really makes a easy of waxing the dash and gauges.. and protects as you do it...makes hallett windshields look new

Been using plexus for a while on the boat windscreens. Learned about it from Lexan windshields on roundy round cars. I'll try it out this weekend. Thanks for the info Steve.
