Woke up early Saturday morning and made my way to the South Shore launch ramp in Long Beach to meet up with the all the others that would be participating in the 2016 Lavey Craft Catalina Fun Run. After some talking and visiting it was time to launch.

Great ride over to Catalina. Time to hit the shore and enjoy the island. First stop was Luau Larry's. I don't have pics from there, but hope some will get posted here. We all made our way to the Descanso Beach Club for a few drinks and some food.

Team "Panic Attack" was along for the run, and combined it with a little ski training. Erica Leonard skied to the island and Andrew Games skied back. Of course they hung out at the island before Andrew got on the ski and headed back to Long Beach, about 2:00ish and not so calm conditions.

.....and we are off, the visibility wasn’t the best, but no problem with the Furuno navigation.
