ps why does this site upload the pix in such a small format? they have been resized by me then again here???

I resized this photo to 156.2 Kilo Bytes not bits and it has been resized to 44.7 Kilo Bytes. ?????

This photo has been resized to 44 KB by me and is now about the same (42.4 KB) size.

What's the maximum size allowed for uploading to this site?

I will try and figure this out, but I think Admin controls this. Paging Admin...

I just uploaded a 600kb picture in the test section and it looks like it has been re-sized to about 100kb by the site. I changed my settings to the WYSIWYG feature and after I insert the image I am able to double-click on it, then choose full-size. It's still not the original 600kb size but it is bigger.
