    Machinist's ?

    How much would it cost to make 2ea of these? Raw finish is fine. I paid $200 for 2 including shipping.

    That's a fair price. Material, machine, heat treat, broach, tooling, fixtures for 2 pcs would be about $1500 total on a good day.
    Snap-on made 3000 pcs to get that price at 100 each.

    Thanks, I didn't realize there was that much too it, but do realize price is relative to quantity made.

    And that depends on the machine. Our large portable costs around $8-10k to set up. But it'll swing a semi lol

    It'll do 180" by 60' or so. We could do an entire billet boat lol
