The Cliff NOTES are as follows, a former "model" , Ashley, knowingly brings children (13 or 14 yr old girls) from remote areas in Russia (Tyumen) to Japan on the premise that they will get paid $8,000 USD for a modeling project that NEVER get paid for their work and typically are sent home in debt, IF they end up going home... God only knows what happens to some of these children...

It's a SICK Asian SUBCULTURE that is fixated with caucasian CHILD girls and has a network of "agencies" (pimps). They bring these CHILDREN to Taiwan/China/Japan thousands of miles away from family with no money and "gently nudges" these young and innocent CHILDREN into a sick and WRONG life... They clearly don't want MATURE adult caucasian women, they want CHILDREN...

And YES, Im sure that this goes on in virtually every country around the globe but this is HIGHLY organized in the FAR EAST and must be exposed/smashed...

I find it very disturbing.....disturbing that you are watching PBS on a Saturday morning. Did they say where they sell the 18-21 year olds?

Bruce, it is highly disturbing.

That is not the worst of it though.
Russian porn is rapidly becoming a front runner in teen porn.
These girls are NOT volunteers would be my guess.

But it is no secret that the slave trade is alive and well in this Country.
Sweat shops are now porn studios.
It is impossible for Joe citizen to make a difference in the highly organized Russian and Asian child slavery/ sex rings.
The exposes' and Dateline shows are no match for the power and cash that these circles wield.

There IS a chance to make a difference in the Mexican/ American slave trade though as many volunteer rescue groups do operate here in the States to locate and rescue these girls on an individual basis.

If you really want to lose your lunch, google the Burma sex slave trade, and Singapore.

I promise that I was flipping channels and stumbled onto this, it was the second time that I saw this expose'... Makes my blood boil to see children abused in any way and to see an organized situation like this BEING aided by one of the injured models all for her $$$ gain makes me sick...

That half of the world has a VERY bad track record when it comes to women’s rights/child abuse...

We have four local PBS stations (digital antenna TV), one is mostly travel, one is kids stuff 24/7, one is news/this old house type stuff and one is "CREATE" programming (cooking/grilling)...

Sorry, no interest in 18-21 yr olds... I wouldn't have made mental note of that, my interest is in 50-65 yr old gals with WIIIIIDE hips...

I have heard enough of the stories from peers within my international co-worker circle of friends... Makes me sick, there is no limit to the depths that some people can sink and what people can rationalize in their sick minds...
