I've been getting a lot of pm's, emails, and smoke signals recently asking a variety of different questions. Some of them technical, some of them social, some of them rude LOL.

Some of the people seem to want to ask the members technical questions or their feelings about something, but don't necessarily want their identity to be known.

So, this is your opportunity to ask the members a question or share something with the rest of the members via PM to me and keep your identity 100% confidential.

So if you have something you want to share or ask and stay anonymous, simply send a PM to me or you can also email: info@hotboat.com I will share your question, comment, or concern and keep your identity 100% confidential. Please title your PM or email "We get letters". Please let me know what City and/or State you're from.

And we have our first letter:

From our email: "Why was Grads banned? Be specific please. Eli admitted to being admin2, can we get your thoughts on that?"

Grads was banned by me for posting porn. He was initially given a 7 day vacay for his offense, however, he has since signed up 2 additional fictitious accounts on hotboat.com and has been given a brand new 10- day vacation. As far as my thoughts on Eli admitting to being admin2, I have no thoughts. She is not admin2.

"How much are the other moderators paid? What is their compensation package?"

I try to thank the mods at least 1-2X a day. And on occasion, they get free swag

There is plenty of boating content on the sight it's just not all in the sandbar. There are a ton of great sections on boating, it's separated by boat type as well as boating region, among other categories. You should venture out of the sandbar and check it out.

I can't tell from his texts if he's furious at me or just fucking with me.

Admittedly, when he first realized there was an admin2. I played a joke on him and did a fantastic job, regrettably, of convincing him that I was in fact admin2. Well now he's convinced and doesn't believe that I'm not admin2. I guess he may have spread the word based on the plethora of texts I received yesterday asking me why I banned Grads. I think it's interesting that he has held on to my initial texts convincing him I'm admin2, yet ignored everything I've said the last 3 weeks about not being admin2.

If he's in fact mad, I think it's odd that the practical joker isn't taking my joke very well.
