If he was, it didn't do any good, Gary dropped out too. No V drives finished that race. In fact I think the only inboard that ran the whole race was the white Nordic, Not the 193 Nordic, it broke a power steering pump and was on and off the water.

They always do well in that race. Its kind of the Energizer Bunny of the Parker Enduro

its funny, lot of people get lathered up because the Nordic or Teague are entered. Even RD got all excited because Gary H was going to run. I'd rather see the E12 and the orange Hallett #69, and Eddie Marines Quick Trick black Mandella entered anyday. They are the boats that remind me of the glory days. If RD wants this race to return to the glory days of the 60s like he says he does, he needs to attract more of those boats, even if they aren't all that competitive. They are cool to watch, and the drivers are having a blast.
