It's getting close to that time of year again.

We aren't huge Off Roaders but for a long time I had wanted to go to Pismo Beach. I learned the hard way that nobody sleeps there... they ride all night. We stayed an extra day by ourselves and here comes this chick with a G-string bikini on riding her quad through our came at 60 MPH. You have to love that place.

Here's some pictures of our trip. Has anyone else been to Pismo Beach?

I started going to Pismo with my parents in about 1988. For about 12 years we would go atleast 10 times a year. Now I only make it over about 3 times a year and sometimes I don't even ride, we just go for the day and hang out. I've had a ton of fun there over the years but it's not the same there as it used to be.

So what has changed? I don't know much about the dunes since I have only been to Pismo Beach and Glamis once. We rented quads at Pismo Beach and a friend of mine gave us the grand tour of Glamis in his sand car. Two different beast but both were really fun.

It's definately fun but they have restricted the riding areas, too many people show up and a lot of the hills that used to be big and steep are now small.

Any of you interested in getting together at Riverland over New Years?

Are you in the right thread...? We usually spend New Years week in Havasu but I don't know if it's going to happen this year.

Yea, Wendi bumped a thread about partying with the Hotboat crew at Riverland. I checked, they have a few spaces available for $54/night, sounds like a good time for New Years.

Went once and my trailer was never the same. Great riding though.
