Basset Hound Needs a Good Home

A friend moved into an apartment and couldn't take him with her so I agreed to take him until we could find him a good home. Buster is about 4 years old. He is a really sweet dog. He's house trained, does well with other dogs, people and children. I've had him outside off the leash a few times and unlike my hound dog, he doesn't run off and chase his nose. Buster needs attention, he is somewhat energetic for a Basset Hound so he'd be a great dog for someone who has children or other dogs he can play with. I'm told he likes water so he could turn out to be a great river dog! I'd keep him but he's a little too for energetic me and my lazy beagle. He needs a yard to run around and a lot of attention which I can't give him. My dog could really care less about other dogs so they aren't a really good fit and I'm gone a lot.

He's currently at my home in Costa Mesa and can be seen almost anytime.

My lab needs a buddy. Can you bring him over to see if they get along?

Put him outside and have him bark his ass off. Payback for your annoying neighbors.

You need to keep him... He looks good with your current dog.
