    Registering a Home Built Trailer

How do I go about this in CA? Just stamp the trailer and take it to AAA?

You'll need receipts for the steel, axles and shit like that.

Probably simple with AAA,, call and ask them. 20 years ago I registered an existing trailer with just as simple statement of cost, at the DMV. They looked it over for lights, and fastened a tag on it.

Cool. Did you have to get a permit to move it (take to the dmv)? Yea, I'll call AAA tomorrow.

Permit? We don't need no stinking permit!

I suppose it would be good to not get a ticket, can't recall if I may have had a borrowed plate from the double axle trailer I was replacing with the triple.
