They are keeping us up to date on PB and Facebook. Carl is in our family's prayers.
Very sorry to hear this. I like Carl, he's a good man.
Prayers go out for his recovery. Sad to hear.
Hang in there Carl, we are all here for you buddy

My favorite Carl story is about his famous baked beans...
He and I had a cook off at Marine Stadium several years back and the judges were THe Doctor and his sons BUZZ/Paul as I recall... AND CHris Davidson... I won with my KC masterpiece baked beans, no big deal...
THe FUNNY part that I have told over and over to my family/friends is Carl's story...
He told how as a kid they would fight over the chunk of pork in the can of beans, so when he got older and started making his special POT O BEANS... THe rule was EVERYONE gets bacon in each bite... :)
He would put a LARGE amount of bacon in his POT O BEANS which were VERY VERY good by the way...
My baked beans are sweet/southern style... BUT CARL's baked beans are more of a SouthWest type almost like CHilli, and yes, EVERYONE gets BACON in every bite... AND they are very good!!!
I like to tell about his idea of EVERYONE GETS THE BACON... :)
It is always so cool getting to see him roll in early the last few years and chill out with him/Rick/Steve for a bit before things got too crazy at the staduim.
Saturday AM was always crazy with the early SAT move in...
THen Sunday AM Carl always has his coffee maker cranked up early, coming out in his jammies/slippers and peering out through blood shot slits for eyes... ALWAYS WITH a big smile just like in his picture above...
Sharing doughnuts/coffee Sunday AM, this is always a highlight of the weekend for me with Carl/Armem/Stevie/Rick and all the other early AM Sunday risers...

I know this might be against the rules. But this is where you can find the most recent updates as to Carl's status.

Hang in there Carl. Lots of people need you around man. You got this!
Funny Carl story. A few years ago at the last Puddingstone race, Carl was camped next to us. A relative of his (I believe) showed up on his Harley. Carl was no where to be found. I'm sure he was off entertaining and making people laugh. So we entertained his relative, almost the entire day lol. Had a great time and he even shuttled us around on his Harley (It was a long walk).
Carl was ever so grateful that we took such good care of his relative. It was easy, the guy was just as friendly as Carl.
I have a pic of Carl's motorhome carpool dummy somewhere. I'll look for it this weekend.
Hang in there buddy.
At 6pm tonight Carls family is pulling him off of life support. Whatever you drink and wherever you are at, raise up a glass and cheers one of the best guys I have ever had the honor of meeting.
Nobody tells Carl when the party is over.... He did his own way. RIP Carl.
Rip cc.
Will miss him so much, can't believe it's real.
