Redondo Beach, CA October 2015- For the 69th time, The Southern California Speedboat Club Sprint Boats have been roaring to life around an 1 ¼ mile oval course laid out on Lake Moovalya in Parker, AZ. Once again, the Southern California Speedboat Club (SCSC) is staging their 69th annual Thanksgiving Regatta at the beautiful Blue Water Resort & Casino. The race will feature 16 classes of the fastest sprint boats, both Inboard and Outboard in the nation.

The 2016 APBA (American Powerboat Racing Association) season get’s underway at the Blue Water Resort & Casino. Classes set to race for the historic event are: Round 1 for the Grand National Racing Association Series, SE's, Super Stocks, Pro Stocks, Crackerboxes, Comp Jet class, 6 Litre Displacement boats, Formula Lights, Nostalgia Endurance & Classic Outboard Runabouts and the limited Stock Outboard Hydroplane classes.

The 69th Annual Thanksgiving Regatta starts on Friday November 27, 2015 at the Bluewater Resort & Casino beach. Racing begins at 9:00 a.m. and should last until approximately 4:30 each day. Saturday night SCSC will be hosting the 2015 Annuual Year End Awards celebration inside the Casino. So come out and celebrate 69 great years of Thanksgiving weekend racing on the Colorado River!

Admission to the races is free. Please park in the upper resort parking lot and come on down to the beach area to take in all the excitement that Sprint Boat Racing has to offer!

8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. - Race Teams Arrive Pit Area
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Registration/Check In – All Racers/Teams must check in at Jeannie Doidge’s Room (patio)

Friday, November 27th
6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. - APBA Capsule Orientation – Lower Pool
6:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.- Late Registration/Check In- River’s Edge Cantina Patio
