Busted out a pair of NB that have been in closet for a year. What a positive difference compared to the ones I just retired. These are what I wear to work and lunchtime walk. Anyone have good recommendations for casual use?

These are the most comfortable shoes I have owned.
I generally wear flip flops outside the gym....but I would wear these all day long.
Use them to run in as well

I don't know, they don't make flip flop tennis shoes..................lol
I love NB for work and exercise. I wear the New Balance 890v3 for running and work. Have has other NB and all were great and made in the USA!
I like the Nike free, and put in the power step insert- super light and comfortable, and you can head straight to gym/crossfit, etc. I'd wear them all the time when I have to wear shoes but the wife is definitely not down w the running shoes+ jeans look lol. Ladies I'd love to hear your opinions on that one.....for or against
Even though I have had NB in closet for a while, I rarely wore them as I tend to wear one pair out before next. It was night and day difference between the others for comfort. I'll definitely give them first look going forward. I think they are only athletic shoe manufactured in USA too.

I like the NB with the Vibram soles..
NB is a great all-around shoe! I have two pairs in my closest that I wear every now and again.
I have the Nike Free Run 3s and love them. However I run in them. I'm going to buy another pair once they wear a lil more. I've had them for a year and they're still in good shape.
I generally wear dress shoes or skate shoes so when I put on a good athletic shoe it feels like walking on air. I've tried just about every brand shoe and I've found it's pretty hard to beat a pair of Nike.
I have about fifteen different pairs of AVIA shoes because they are what I consider the very best shoes available. To each his own, I suppose. Buy what fits your activity level best.
Brooks are the best shoes I've ever had. I go through about 4 pairs a year.
