I guess it really exists. I'd be really impressed if they could grill a burger at the same time. ;)

I'm sure you guys are sick of hearing about the Shootout but I just have to tell you about a friend of ours, he has a 107mph pontoon that he runs in the Shootout, here's one of his runs a few years ago, I think he ran 110mph this year, it's crazy.
Cool manitu pontoon too, I would love to have one at LOTO for cruising, sorry Grads I didn't mean to hijack your thread.

Actually the toon that ran at the last shootout ran 115. Broke the old record. I have pics somewhere.
I've seen the ones at LOTO, what I thought was interesting about these guys is that they are barrel racing with turns.
Great video Joey....there's no way in hell you'd catch me dead doing 107 mph on a toon! :yikes:
That looks extreme! I'm surprised they aren't wearing helmets.
I always thought a pontoon boat demolition derby would be fun to watch.
Those turns look sketchy at best. :yikes:
That has to be a wild ride.

Next thing you know the'll be Racing Plywood?:schreck::schreck::schreck:
If you strap enough horsepower to a man hole cover it will fly.
Wait a minute, some guys have drag boats that are 18' and have 1000hp in them that go like rockets and a pontoon boat going 100mph is scary, maybe it's just different, I'd get on it with him, I wish he would ask me.
I'd rock one of these, the Playcraft are badass. ;)

Proof that horsepower is an excellent substitute for aerodynamics..

LOTO has an OSS race in June that has a pontoon class! Single engine, 350hp max, 28' or less. Looked like a real hoot this year!

The above is last years site, but they did announce that they were running again this year. Plus it's right in front of my house!
