we got about 8 boats so far, most members of the 3 boat boards headed to the springs...
we are leaving from winsor at 8am,... stopping at thompsons bay...to add to the group...
all are wecome to join us...fun time for sure...
we'll be in this hallett...

Right after the sandbar left hand turn is where my fuel pump really started to crap out. I started to lose it as soon as we hit those big rollers leaving the no wake zone in the gorge. I was gonna stop and drench when you did but was worried if I shut it down it wasn't coming back.
BTW, interesting line you took heading south. Never seen anyone hug the island that much.

That is one good looking 24 you have there Steve. I've never really been a fan of Halletts from back in the day when I went in to look at them(long story). Yours looks great.
we pulled out of winsor about 8:30..... rained like a mo fo!!!
white caps in the channel, we beached and went to makai's for breakfast.... after breakfast headed to steamboat
after breakfast, we headed down towards steamboat,... paul65k was susposed to join us but the weather scared him off, says he won't in weather
he wont fly in.....
we ended up with just 2 halletts,, a 270 and a 240...
so off to steamboat
the ride from thompsons bay to steamboat was fun ... the waves were pretty big,,, the 240 & 270 halletts were right at home and made for a smooth ride
it was a great time at steamboat, great fun group ,good music.... we stayed till about 2 or three,,, then off to the springs.....
what started out as a bad boating day.... ended up to be a real fun day..... thanks for looking,,, see you on the water
