He's asking $1,100. You could part it out for more than that.
Not sure why you feel its a can't lose just because it has FE gear.
But I have a feeling THAT one has some cool stuff. I'd bet it was a 427 boat originally, manifold looks like it could be a MR Sidewinder, and the valve covers are worth a couple bucks. I kind of wish Mouzer would grab that thing and strip it. I'd like to buy a few pieces.
You can store it in my barn if ya want. Free you can't beat that.
Here's a manifold on e-bay with the same ID number as said in the ad, also aluminum and they're asking $2,500 just for the manifold!!!! :schreck:
Very-Rare-1968-Shelby-GT500-Intake-
And those valve covers look like factory 428 cj valve covers 69-70...?
There are several applications for that intake, one of which could be a GT500... It's a 428 police intake but was used on several apps...

Knock the freeze plugs out and check the distance between the bores in the water jackets... It's quite likely that the block will go 4.130 IF it isnt already there... :)
See what the largest # / letter drill bit is that you can fit between the bores in the water jackets...
Surprised it hasn't sold now that I know more about the Ford that's in it. I came across that on Craigslist months ago.
