I just saw the results on NHRA page. Funny car final sounded close, can't wait to see it on recorded TV.
Vegas was great last month. Met Nordie and his wife, Wasthatguy and his wife, Eli of course. Oh and the infamous TBI.
I already have my reservations for NHRA Sonoma style for the whole weekend in July. How many of you bench racers gonna make the trek? :D

It was a fun and exciting series! Of course my first and I'm sure will always be my favorite! NHRA is the perfect sport for someone with the attention span of a 2 year old! It's over 4 seconds after it begins ;)

If it were not for the Benchracers, Carbon, Napanutt, TBI, Gramps, Was That Guy, RR429, Nordie and a few others who I can't recall, it would most certainly not be as much fun. I wouldn't know what was going on. The history and the current year information was fantastic. Thank you all so much! It was so great to meet everyone in Vegas and we definitely have to meet again next year!

He's just as nice in person as he is on TV, based upon our many experiences. Bobby, didn't he also work out at the same gym you go to? I understood you see him often.

I scanned ESPN and 2 for a couple days ahead and could not find anything. According to Sarah Adams(JFR media), they are supposed to be up on Twitter later today hosted through Youtube. Ill post the link when it comes up. Warning, they are 20 minute videos and John's may be longer if they are like last year. :yikes:

The 2013 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Awards Ceremony returns to the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles’ posh Westside on Monday, Nov. 11. The entire NHRA Mello Yello Awards Ceremony will be broadcast on NHRA.com and via NHRA’s YouTube channel on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m. (ET)/3 p.m. (PT). It marks the fifth year that the full event will be available to fans via the Internet.
The invitation-only black-tie event, where NHRA will crown its Mello Yello Drag Racing Series world champions in all four categories, will feature a pre-event cocktail reception at 5 p.m., followed by a formal sit-down banquet and an after-party.
ESPN2 lead anchor Dave Rieff will host the awards ceremony for the second year.
Perfectly situated on the fashionable Westside, adjacent to Beverly Hills, the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza sits on seven acres with 726 spacious and recently renovated guestrooms and a world-class spa and fitness center that has been the luxury hotel of choice for luminaries and dignitaries worldwide for more than 45 years.
The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza features three restaurants and bars and the Equinox Fitness Club + Spa offering exclusive fitness equipment, elite personal coaches, and cutting-edge group fitness classes. The Spa features 20 treatment rooms, three outdoor cabanas, a manicure/pedicure suite, and a full menu of massage and facial treatments and products. Haven't seen him at the gym in a while. Heard he may have a home gym at the Force mansion he built on top of the hill. I do see his brother Walker there a few times a week.

Sure, NHRA annual end of season awards banquet in LA, invitation only Black Tie event to officially crown the winners and here their acceptance speeches. Didn't Robert, John or Courtney ask you to go? :D

Side note, last year Spencer Massey brought his own cooler into the Black Tie event, got his vocal cords lubed up and made some racial slurs about Antro Brown and was fired from DSR. Two months later DSR hired him back.
