100% paid up front by a set date, these things turn to shit otherwise.
I've started a new roll call thread, please go there and add names so we can get a head count.
Thoughs on a DJ???
Got some info on 1 boat that is available on the 7th.
Personally I dont really like this deal as it felt like I was talking to a used car salesman.
This is the boat:

Info:
49 people max, leaves from Newport and will go to Huntington
$3200 for the 4 hours + $200 for a bartender + tax.
They have an option where for $25 its all you can drink for the 4hrs......Dont think they are too familiar with river people.
Boat will leave at 7pm.
Prices is based on cash/check. If we pay by CC they add 3% more.
Basically we are looking at 100 per person for this boat.
IMHO I am going to keep looking....Let me know all your thoughts.
So from what I am gathering, alot of the "charter companies" only sail around Newport Harbor. I cant find a charter company in Huntington Harbor.
Are we married to sailing up to Huntington or can we stay in Newport? From what I hear, people decorate their houses in Newport as well.
Thoughts?
We need someone's private yacht that we can rent for the evening and take us around.
Any word "She's Mine"
Just got off the phone with this company.

Their price $3500 for 4 hours and it accommodates up to 55 people.
If we want to add 1 hour, its $750
I asked about booze and they said since they have a liquor license they have to pour the alcohol but they would let us BYOB.
This boat stays in Newport but the lady also said the boat is decorated and the houses are all decorated and they will take us around.
What the lady did say was that Boats dont generally go into Hunting Harbor because the bridge is too low for alot of the boats.
I like this one better than the previous.
Roughly, Honestly, I would plan on $80-$100 just to be safe incase we want to spend an extra hour and of course there is always the inevitable tax they hit us with. Also depends on the amount of people we get to go.
Im still looking and hoping someone on the boards knows someone with a private boat that can take us all out and we can kick them down the money.
Just called this company.

THese are all fishing boats that cruise the harbor.
Although they are cheaper, they do not allow alcohol on board.
THis is the exact boat that is available.

Out of the 3 I checked out, I think option 2 is the best.
Forgot to ask about cups and music Wendi. I will call back in a bit and ask.
