Well unfortunately my wife's uncle, her mother's last sibling, passed away last night shortly after being taken off life support. He truly was being supported by the machines as he went peacefully about five minutes after. It truly is amazing how the heart holds on the longest. He was a good man at 73. Took the doctors about two weeks to find the diagnosis as the West Nile Virus but by that time, there was little chance of recovery. Was a good man who is now dancing with his God.
My condolences to you and your wife with such a loss.
