I thought you were in a fraternity? You had to toss a few pizzas in your days? You know pizzas are thick crust, chicago style, everything on it, pepperoni's, anchovies....the list goes on.
Is it fair to say this thread has been....."derailed"?

Well, a belated good morning to you all also.....sorry to not chime in earlier, but today was my Friday trip, and I was running from the moment I got to the station. I hope you had a great day, mine was the usual. Crisis resolution and haul ass....Steve, thanks for the vids, that is my all time favorite RR song, as it talks about an era long gone from our times....a lot of the guys around when that song was written were my mentors and taught me the craft of running a train. I miss the talks and the stories they told....RIP in peace old friends....
No. Before the metrolink crash we could, now after that, the Dems on the hill freaked out and added all these laws governing us and we can hardly breathe up there any longer it's so tight. If I am in the cab car I leave the door propped open and place a red flag across the aisle to keep folks out. But certain people I will let come forward to the edge of the cab and stand there and watch me do my thing. I only have two rules, A. Turn off your cell phone, and B. do not come across the threshold from the car into the cab itself. If you are a pretty girl or a woman with a couple of kids that are well behaved I will let you sit ahead of the flag if the train is crowded. I do not believe in splitting up families if at all possible. So the answer is yes, kinda, I do. LOL....in the cabcar, but never with the engine itself. But trust me, your not missing anything, they ride like rocks.
Roughly 400 round trip....
