We just wanted something different, like a tree house without wrecking trees. Taking up the stairs this coming weekend and finishing out the inside which is now completely insulated, wired and dried in. It gets a metal roof once the gables are finished out.

This is at 6600 feet above sea level on top of the Mogollon rim and we don't expect any flooding issues but it's nice in the dead of summer to wake up to 58* temps with a rain shower most days around two.
