Parker would be tough for me it's always been struggling as far as amenities, stores & services go, other than that I would never grow tired of the river itself, but try it for six months.

X2. We go down to Parker for two months in the fall and two months in the spring. After two months, we're definitely ready to go back to AK. Other than boating on the river (2-3 days a week) and off-roading, there's not that much to do. We're not gamblers or smokers so the casino is pretty much out for us. It is nice get together with friends in Parker. We got a place in Parker as we got tired of getting blown off the lake in Havasu. Parker is centrally located from Phoenix and Vegas.Quote:
