I get to work from home, I have a nice office to work from and socialize if I so choose, I get to work from Guadalajara MX, I get to work from Sunny Southern CA, I get to work from my favorite fried fish joint (they have WIFI), I get to work from MickeyD's in Lincoln Park / N.Broadway while I wait for Pat Eason to finish his work day... :)
Anywhere in the world that I can get online, I can work... The Bluewater, wherever...
I get to work with so many amazingly talented people
5 weeks paid vacation from the Park (most musicians don't get paid vacation and sick time)
I can sub out work for outside gigs and tours so plenty of flexibility
Pension and Health benefits through the Musicians Union
And most important of all for me, I get paid to make music!
35 paid vacation days a year.
Having fri, sat and sunday off every week without working 10 hour days.
Excellent profit sharing and stock options.
Getting full pay for my current 6 month knee surgery leave is pretty bad ass!
Free flying for myself and the family is pretty cool too but it is space available.
A lot of other perks.

Good wages, benefits, decent environment, good people, some say in my hours, nobody breathing down my neck.
Secure, annual bonus (best ever and paid next week), and I enjoy what I do; use 3D CAM software to program CNC machines making turbine jet engine components.
Only wish it was closer to home or I could tele-comutte...
