Back in the day,my (now Ex) wife used to drive the boat ALL THE TIME while I "SKEE'd....Then we split and I kept my boat and with 3 young kids, I took over at the helm...They tubed,ski'd,wakeboarded...did all the "kid stuff"..then they got older and wanted to drive more,so I let 'em,I went back to "Skee"in'...Now,I'm gettin a bit older and don't "SKEE" so much and still single and the kids are doin' they're own thing...so guess who's back at the helm?! Peace! Skee :wink2:

Mine launches and retrieves and drives, when I kick it at the sandbar with a cold beverage or two.
My wife has always put the boat on and off the trailer. She has also been known to be the DD for other boaters when they are not sober enough to drive back. lol

I do have to say the ex would get the truck and launch and retrieve the boat... Man that made my job so easy... Probably the only thing I miss about her... lol
Wife drives the boat all the time but she gets nervous around the dock if its crowded. Works awesome for me because she will go get the truck and trailer while I just idle around and wait.
I'm surprised that many do, that's great.
My wife does not drive our boat. She won't even drive the truck.
Don't worry, you're not alone! At least your wife goes with you. It's too hot for mine or maybe the girls are too hot at the river ( i don't know), so she hasn't been to the river in 15 years. So, a win win situation for me. :D Soon, my youngest daughter will graduate from highschool and that anchor I have had for 30 years will be cut loose.
Lol!!!! I hope the anchor doesn't take your boat with her when all is said and done. :D
My wife rarely goes with me because she works weekends. She uses her 12 annual paid leave days for birthday parties, sick leave and holidays. She wants to go but what can I do....:)
