You should try mountain biking the Claremont loop. It's a great and fun workout. :thumbup:

Man I don't know about that. When I hike up, I go to the left and there are some pretty steep hills. I'd be embarrassed if I had to get off and walk lol. I'm going to have to practice going up mt. Baldy road a couple more times first.
Last ride I rode from my house off 21st and San Antonio up mills to MT. Baldy road and down where Euclid meets Mt. Baldy road and that hill just about broke me off lol

I grew up on 21st between San Antonio and Euclid. South side across the street from Sheu's lemon grove.
A few tips for beginners riding the Claremont Wilderness loop.
1. Make sure your tires are aired up.
2. Seat needs to be correct height.
3. 1st gear all the way up.
4. Don't be embarrassed to stop and rest.
5. take water.
I've taken lots of people up there and everybody is at a different level. We all start somewhere right.
Here's a pic of my 8 year old doing it. He had to rest at the top of every little incline, but who cares. :thumbup:
