Sounds like you called the wrong guy. Try Sean at Bunkrepair in Havasu. He used all stainless carriage bolts with double nuts and nylocks on mine.

Besides normal service and teak oil, I replaced the stock shifter with this Dana unit that I got from a board member. Thanks PaulAttachment 31768

Do you have a favorite place to get your boat parts and supplies?? Say like Eddie Marine or Rex Marine.

Or do you just have whoever is doing the work buy the parts?

I do most of my own stuff. I deal with Eddie Marine a lot because they have nice stuff and they do other shit like Hotrod parts and powder coating. For regular service items like filters Rode's Way is convenient and cool guys to deal with.
