Actually, in California its called 'Unsecured Property Tax' and it's collected by the county.

If my neighbor can keep his Christmas lights up all year.....I say why not. ;)

We used to have to pay "personal property tax" (about a 1K a year) on the boat in MO., but not down here, Florida doesn't have all those screwy taxes and no state tax either.

Here in Havasu ours was a little over $1200.
