One thing I forgot to mention is that you can negotiate with them. They wanted something like $250 a picture I told them I'll be sending them back unless I got them for $100. They did the deal. Here's one of them.

I received an email a few days ago that my pictures are on the way. I look forward to seeing them.
Update:
I received the pictures and I'm not impressed. They will be sent back.
I didn't want to say "I told you so" not worth that kind of money, now it's a PITA getting it back, bummer.
They're too close up and don't even look aerial. I'm going to call them tomorrow to inform them they're in route back and provide them the tracking #. I'm out $30 for them to send me them and whatever it costs to ship back. Oh well.
For $250 I could buy another nice painting to hang in my home.
I know, that's why I advised you not to do it, I tried it 8-9 years ago and they sucked, live and learn, you'll get your money back, it's just going to take a few weeks and that sucks.
But you get stuck with the cost to ship them back.
Nothing wrong with checking it out NGE. I was in the same situation when they took pictures of us (with Grads). I really wanted to purchase the pictures because I thought they would be great pics. Grads had seen their work before and knew some where good and some not so good. He also knew it was a pain to return them. When we got the proofs, I was glad we didn't purchase them. This is why they don't send proofs. Live and learn.
Wow this didn't end like every other Boatpix.com thread I've seen.
