The previous owner of my truck had a goose neck receiver already put in my truck.
I guess he used to haul horses....Also got the electrical receiver in the bed as well.

Glad it's some good info for ya. If you do go this route , u will never go to a 5th wheel hitch. Also : add that u don't get any slop or play with gooseneck. Hence why farmers use it, to try and give the smoothest ride to their prize winning cow [emoji12][emoji106][emoji41][emoji202]

Ed Zachary! I talked a few of my buddies into going that route and they haven't looked back. The only issue is, now if they need something moved and don't have a truck, I get the call because I have a gooseneck too. Just my luck.
I'd also look at bigger than you think you need. Much like 3 foot-itis in boats, the same seems to occur with trailers and motorhomes. Just a few more feet and you'll be good until next season.
