What the Southwest doesn't have any bugs, seems like when we came to Havasu a few years ago there were bugs everywhere....................I guess there gone now.

Truth be told we almost never see bugs out here when the humidity falls below 15%.........which is about 10 months out of the year.........one of the hidden secrets of the desert :D

Some scorpions but not too many.....not too many at all for sure. I've never seen a tarantula once in the desert........otherwise I probably wouldn't be living in the desert :D

They have bugs the size of my fist in Havasu between April and early June...but it makes for great drunk entertainment watching the giant bug zapper.

Paul65k probably has a no bug halo around him which keeps the bugs away. ;)
