End of Summer, but not boating. The winter season is just starting, I'm leaving Sat. for a week in Parker and going back on Thanksgiving. The boat gets new upholstery after that. Then out whenever we need to get away till the summer hits again
Wake up in the morning, go riding out to the desert bar for a few cold ones. On the way back, stop and pop some rounds off. Then cruise back to the house, toss the boat in the water and head to Fox's. Then head over to Willows at the casino and get a killer steak dinner with a shrimp cocktail....Yea.. fall, winter, spring does not suck
Heading to Havasu tomorrow for a few days. Then put the boat away. Will be at the Turtle Sat. since Mr. Hotboat said he would buy me a beer.
My buddy just called me and is trying to convince me to just roll out and ride on his boat. I guess it's DCB regatta weekend?
Unless I absolutely have to and there's no bathroom with a few hours plans I won't prop check anyway. So October-May is great boating time bc I'm not sweating and gross from the heat.

I've boated in late December and it was chilly. It's not so bad when you float, but yea.. def a beanie and jacket!
The coldest my body has ever felt was on new years in Parker 3 years ago. My cousin and I were comin back from the Casino at 4am on my boat. We each had jackets, sweaters, and blankets. My nose was running and formed the snot froze to my face.
