I grew up in Culver City which was the epicenter of horsepower in the 60s. I don't know if I was lucky, or I am the product of my surroundings. I could be at Isky cams, Edelbrock(on the city border), Halibrand, Traco Engineering, Falconer and Dunn, Hilborn, Sandy Belonde Mufflers, Hedman Hedders were all in Culver City, or near by, and I could be at any of them in less than 15 minutes from my house on a bicycle or my mini bike. Most of them were involved in Indy cars, or dragsters, and there was always something cool going on.Quote:
