Ok, soooo I've been sick in bed since last Wednesday while Chris and worked all weekend to get the trailer finished, primed and painted. Good news is it's done. Not trying to hijack the thread, awesome project BTW.

But, I have a question. What's with the small trailers with the inset small wheels/tires? Is that so you can put it into an enclosed hauler instead of a typical boat trailer? Or is it to facilitate easier launches/recoveries at events?

Good Question
It is set up to load the boat in an enclosed trailer. It has narrowed axles and small tires for the boat to sit over the top of tires so it will fit in the Enclosed.
The trailer is only 35" wide to fit the center flat area of the Hydro.
It will not be used for road transport,
Only to lunch and load the boat at the races

That's what I figured. Thanks for the info.

I will put up pics of it on the new trailer later to day, we are heading down to the ramp today to see if this thing floats and to put it on the new trailer :partyguy:

So how did the leak test go???

Leak test went good, not one leak, and the boat fit on the new trailer perfect, my dad is working on the engine right now, so hopefully on a few weeks it will be ready to drop on

That's why I'm moving to Havasu. Now that's a real garage, not these puny little cram a car and 4 boxes in to it garages we have here in OC. They shouldn't even call it a garage, it's more of a oversized closet [emoji1361]
