One of the most interesting things I did was the track walk this morning. I was surprised how sticky it is and the build-up of rubber especially in the burnout area. I bet the rubber build-up is 1/16-1/8" thick.

Yea, the first 660' is new concrete. They did a fantastic job with grade and smoothness, but the contraction joints that are sawed in are lousy. Looks like they rushed the cutting of the joints and have spalling already.Quote:
