Mammogram showed a "mass" but Dr. Today did an untrasound and it ended up being nothing! Dr. said it was a fluke that the mammy must have compressed the tissue to resemble a mass. When it is all spread out with the ultrasound, it showed normal.

Prayers would be appreciated....my uncle (grandma that lives with me son). Had a biopsy on fri in lymph nodes and just got confirmation that it is cancer. They don't know where or how far along it is but biopsy was cancerous. Waiting on a call from the oncologist....sucks I'm the only one in the fam to know right now. He plans on telling everyone tonight...it really hits home when it is someone close in the fam.

sorry to hear this RR.... We just got the news that my bro in law has throat cancer and is still working through the treatment plans...
I think that we can be VERY hopeful that proper diagnosis and the new treatment protocols have greatly improved treatments/process/drugs/radiation...

My Bro in Law is starting his 5th week of treatments for his throat cancer. Looks like he will get a feeding tube due to the ulcers/sores in his mouth as a result of the treatments. :cry2:
