Loved the right up HB, I think the boat "Liquid Asset" impressed me as much as any, somehow i feel the reverberation when i see a pic of it. Bet there are ripples in the water coming off that boat!

Great write up! Welcome to our little pond and what we feel is the Mecca of all Performance Boat Events!!! You chose a great 1st time to come. This being the 25th anniversary it was one to remember. Please come back next year. The also said 224 wont stand long, My Way was turned to 3000hp and is capable of 5000hp.....could be interesting...
I'm decorating my LOTO jar and gonna start stuffing it with bills this I won't miss. Plus ill get to see my cousin who recently moved to St. Louis and has been boating most of her life. It's gonna be fun!!
Thank you for the kind words, and welcome to our site. After I posted my little write up, I realized how much I'd forgotten to include. Our first night at Captain Ron's ended with our waiter telling us that even if he won the lottery, he would still work for Captain Ron. I didn't get to spend much time with Ron, but from what many people said, he's a great guy. Doesn't surprise me, everyone we met was extremely friendly. But it does sound like Ron has the patience of Job. I'm still in a bit of a spin from the last few days. It was a fantastic weekend that will not soon be forgotten. LOTO is now definitely on our annual must do event list. Right along side; Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving and The 4th of July :D
Now that I have a little time and the pressure is off to get stuff up on the site post haste, I'll go through my couple thousand pics and start pulling out some of the better pics. Like this one. The business end of "My Way", which happened to be parked right in front of our room. Literally. As we opened our door this phenomenal piece of machinery was staring us in the face. Pretty damn cool.
Mercury was also represented at LOTO. First time I heard about the 520. Merc is supposed to send me the press release. And of course the 1650. Hella motor right there. Attachment 15771Attachment 15772Attachment 15773
E-Ticket (Lake Havasu, Az) brought one of their beautiful deck boats. Had the opportunity to meet the E-Ticket folks, but unfortunately didn't get to spend any time with them. Absolutely beautiful deck boat right there.
This was one of my favorite V bottoms. Outerlimits (Bristol, RI). I believe this is a SL36. Bad ass boat. Attachment 15775
I overheard a couple people talking, this wasn't Fido's first LOTO. Lucky dog :D Attachment 15776

This is a short video of the Shootout we made a few years ago. Imagine if we had HB's awesome photos....
Welcome all HB's new friends from LOTO!
Great thread and great write up. It's neat to see this through someone else's eyes, especially from out of town. We love our little watering hole and all the great times that come with it. Next year come for the week, there is something going on at all times!
