Speaking of NHRA, looks like we're gonna be in Vegas next year for the unnamed NHRA nationals in Oct. besides the regular weekend we do in Sonoma each year.

Leah Pruett tweeted that she will pilot the Dote top fueler in '13. This will be an interesting contest for rookie of the year between her and Brittany Force.

This entire saga is a mess of Biblical proportion. For now, the best rumors are that the NHRA will lease the drag strip (multi-year,) Bob Bondurant will retain his facility for another year and Lucas Oil will lease the lake but the long term prognosis is not good for Charlie Allen or the facility in general. The Indians want an outlet mall there. All rumors, but good ones. :D
