I almost stepped on a baby rattler in Feb. I think it was living in the woodpile. I keep my eyes out for em all the time now.

Had one in between the tires and fender of my boat trailer once. It measured 46", it didn't get a new zip code, it got the shovel. It was the biggest one I'd ever seen and it was mean as fuck.

This one was pissed off too! Very active and aggressive for cool weather. We also have "Mojaves Greens" and they're extra mean.

That's what the baby snake was, I've had to kill 4 Mojave Greens on my property so far.
