Passed this today coming from a meeting. This wouldn't be fun if it happened while towing.

Did a converter let go?

Just noticed only the back axle has tires. Maybe it was permanently parked with tires off. Why would they do this McRib?

That front wheel well sure looks like a blowout got it.

Could have been a stolen recovery that the thieves took some rims and tires and tried to torch it. Looking at the pics its clearly a garage fire. Very doubtful the axles had anything to do with it. There would have been no reason for the tow operator to remove them for the tow unless the hubs were damaged or tires were flat.
