A month ago yesterday my girl and i were involved in a pretty bad accident in my old toon. Though we both suffered pretty serious injuries I am grateful because it could have been so much worse.

Thankfully we will both, in time, fully recover.

My boat on the other hand was a total loss.

My thoughts over the past four weeks ranged from: I’ll never boat again to: When the insurance pays me, whenever that might be, maybe I’ll look around and see what’s out there.

About a week ago my buddy sends me a link to a beautiful Playcraft very similar to my old boat. Turns out this boat is being brokered by Maxed Out Marine in Havasu. So i contact my good friend Paul who tells me the boat is still available and it’s immaculate.

So yesterday i head to Havi to take a look. Paul’s right, this boat is super clean.

Today i test drive it and it’s a done deal.

Thanks to my buddy Scot and Paul this baby is now in my garage [emoji41]

I love it. I can’t wait to see it & I can’t wait till we can take it out together. I’m so looking forward all our new adventures.
Hopefully I can start walking again in a few weeks & we can go back for another river trip!

Ever been on a pontoon boat with a broken leg & 10 broken ribs?? Well now we have! [emoji23]
It was definitely a little bittersweet getting into a boat again, but we LOVE the new pontoon boat! We even had someone say “hey! Nice pontoon boat!!” Vic was so shocked!!
So glad we were finally able to take the boat out & have another weekend on the water.

Hahahaha. Funny, I actually got a couple "hey nice boat" comments on this toon. Definitely not used to getting comments on my toons because they've always been beaters, until now. So I'm not sure about fish guts on the carpet lol
