As a kid, I always thought these were cool. It's up in Bend Oregon right now, at my in-laws place. Hopefully get it down here to San Diego soon.
I'm sure the dream of having one will prove to be better than actually riding one. Will see how my back can handle it and what it will be like to not have a front brake.
Thanks for the complements.

Very cool 750/4...

I'm looking at buying a retro 750/4 chopper right now, that was built by a long time friend that has recently passed...

I will try to get some pics up soon.

That's a cool old chop. My buddy has a replica Captain America bike he's trying to get out of his shop. The old school is making a come back finally. Enough with the big wheel UFO Kachina paint job shit for a while. :partyguy:

Edit: Found the link to the bike. I think Vic would look great on this and they have the football helmet that would be thrown in at no cost. :wink_002:

Sweet scoot! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt from the chiropractor to prove it.... moved onto baggers.
Check out CycleXchange for some cool goodies it needs any updates. And buy the carb sync tool now before it even gets home.

Thanks for the advise. Have been riding it a little, but only close to home. Back tire is a Winston car tire dated 02 and has the cracks to prove it. Clutch is bad, have to use my feet to come to a complete stop like the Flintstones. Rides better than I thought it would. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180523/c7e4a6b5f2df8a698b5765586248a0a1.jpg

Great pic, 76Bonneville! That's a great looking bike. Never had a chance to try out something quite like that. Looks difficult to ride, but I'll take your word for it that it's not.

Webpage from laptop. Me no tapatalky. If this works it is perhaps a size issue.

Guess if I reduce the size about 75% it makes a big difference. :thumb:

So I sold my Street Glide after almost 8 years. Was without a scooter for about a week when a deal presented itself that was too good to pass up. I have some expensive friends it seems. :smilies_mit_hut019:

Looks much better! Have bags, side covers, fender, and stretched tank ordered. Chin scoop is done at paint and waiting for the chrome guy for the insert. Changed out the fork internals while it was all apart. This thing rides amazing now.

Thanks! The changes Harley did on these new bikes is unreal. It's like riding a couch. The tour pack was never really an interest to me previously, but I honestly use it more than the side bags now. Throw the laptop in there and head to the office without issue. It would probably fit in the side bags, but I don't need to find out now.

I've rented the Road Glide's a.couple of times and really like them. For now I have to stick to my Jap roots. They are also more in my price range.

This site has a 2MB limit per pic. Which is stupid beCause the server is massive. As soon as i figure out how to increase that i will.

Nothing wrong with that. I was always a big fan of the bat wing, but I now understand why everybody I know who went from the bat wing to the shark nose (Road Glide) said they'd never go back. The stationary fairing takes some getting used to, but only having the weight of the forks and wheels, rather than fighting the weight of the fairing and the wind, is pretty crazy.

No worries, the pics were fucking HUGE!!!! Like 5Kx7.5K. Pulled them right off my phone. Didn't realize it would shoot that kind of resolution.

Here's an update on the scoot. New wheel was installed and looks great! I'm currently waiting on a new tank, side covers, stretched bags, and a rear fender that are at paint. Once those are done it's off to upholstery for a new seat, bag and tour pack liners. The only possible hitch there is the Daytona Bike Week. Mine might go down for the show, which could wrench up the rest of the schedule. Trying to get it all finished up before Arizona Bike Week. :wink_002:

Thanks! Should have parts back from paint this week, then it will look way better!

It's a 2017, which was the same as 2018. The 2019 models changed a bunch on the electronics side, including adding apple car play, which I don't use, but was supposed to be a pretty big step. T

Can you tell me anything about the bike on the lift in the back of the photo? :detective:

I believe it's this Road Glide that was built a few years ago with a 26" front wheel. The guy has built a handful of bikes with my buddy and decided to change this one over to the fat front tire style in lieu of the big wheel.

pretty cool, I saw the fat front tire and lower legs on the front end and couldn't tell what was going on there...

y'all do good work!

It's all torn down to get rid of the 26" wheel, which runs the standard trees with a rake, to go with what's essentially a 23" wheel, with wider trees, a different fender, and a different rake. The ride is night and day from the big wheel and stock.

Just about finished as there's not much left to be touched. New tank, side covers, lower bags, rear fender, seat, exhaust, bag and tour pack liners. Put about 500 miles on her at bike week on various rides and she rides as good as she looks. Time to sell and start another project. :lmao1:
