As if we don't have enough going on, we picked up a right hand side steer hallet long deck for a really good price. The first boat I ever circle raced was a long deck Hallet in the GPS 95 class and I had a blast driving it. We are moving the steering to the left side like it should be and putting dads 598ci chevy on pump gas in it to make it a fun early morning run to Topock for b-fast boat, and to get my dad back in the seat of a flat bottom

I just dropped an engine in it for now for mock up, and I am using the boat for a mobile engine stand because we are in the middle of building the garage, so I have to move everything by the end of this month for framing

I got all of the cav plate stuff mocked up, I just need to put the steering together and then tear it all apart for powder coating and polish. We are building this thing as cheap as possible with parts we have laying around,

Left over parts from the K-034 and a few other parts from junk flat bottoms we parted out, and aluminum left over from the drag boat. We are just cleaning out the crap before the new garage starts going up [emoji1303]

Jacks Auto parts here in Havasu has this camera that takes a pic of the paint color and then sends the color code to to a computer and mixes the color and then they put it in a rattle can, color match is damn near dead on,

Great boat! Our family boat was a Hallett flat, which we still have. Everyone learned to ski behind it and they learned to drive it as well. Many great memories in that boat. We'll work on restoring it next year. Wannabe Buzzz and F/C Pilot Paul have photos of it but I can only find one where Grandma is helping with the tune-up.

Not yet m, trying to get it to handle, it’s fast and won’t keep the nose down, I need to try a different prop, Im using old props from GN 7 right now
