So I'm having my boat painted.

When I bought the boat I wasn't really fond of the gold color but I got a smoking deal. Being a Niners fan I thought I could live with it since it's basically their colors but I can't. Going in January 8th to have it redone.

Just kidding. ;) We are probably having a little different shade of the red/maroon and where it is gold it will be a metallic gray. Something kind of like this and the stripes will be extended to the back of the boat. I don't want to spend a fortune on the boat before I decide if i want to keep it but the gold had to go.

I'm gonna say it looks good as is, not a real hey-lam show boat, but the design fits the boat, and like you, if I don't like something, I wanna try to change it.... but....again... I would leave it ..looks good to me...

The colors on Formula's are paint not gel. This stripes have already been repainted before but kind of poorly.

The interior is mostly white with a red stripe and a tiny gray accent. The red also looks "redder" in person, this pic makes it look really dark because it was in the shade.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Not sure if you looked closely at the fourth pic I posted in the original post.

Just saw that. still too much red...Can you swap the two? Make the gray go all the way around to the front and on top and just a lil red where the gray currently is....Just a thought.
